Celebrating Thanksgiving Day at 4th course

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. While there was an underlying religious element in the original celebration, Thanksgiving today is primarily identified as a secular holiday.
Last week students of 4th course celebrated Thanksgiving Day making masks and cards.

Artist's Corner

Dear parents and family,

This year we've started to teach Art and Crafts in English in the first cycle of Primary Education.

The main ain of the Arts and Crafts in English class is to involve the children in activities that help them to learn the English language.

The school believes that these types of activities, promote intellectual and emotional exploration, expression and communication.

Children learn by doing and communicating. The children will be learning English through participating in creative and fun activities which will also broaden and deepen their English knowledge, and vocabulary understanding.

Twice a week we have been experimenting with different materials, painting,  drawing, and now we will be making decorations for Christmas.

Louis is our language assistant, a friendly and nice boy from the USA.

Here there are some somples of our work. If you want to see more, visit our Artist's space on the ground flour near 1st and 2nd class.

See you soon,

Cristina.
